The Pantry
Hmm.... what could be in that room... ?
You decide to walk over and finally find out..
You cross the dank room, pass the old stove and rusty sink and stop just as you reach the door.. Reaching for the knob, you glance down and realize that there isn't one..
And so, you simply push the door open slightly..
Beyond the doorway is complete darkness.. you peer into the pitch black room and squint so you can hopefully see better. Your eyes discern a thin silver chain dangling from the ceiling..
You walk over to it cautiously and pull lightly on it. The room suddenly flickers with the dim overhead light.. its pale glow falling over the contents that sit on rotting shelves..
You blink to focus in the light and find that this room must've been the pantry.. Several jars and other old objects adorn the shelves..
You look to them curiously and furrow your brow as your eyes fall onto a certain object.. an old book..
Its plain brown cover and gold leafing striking your curiosity for some reason.. So you pick it up carefully and open it up..
Several pages are missing.. but some are still present so you look them over.. What's this?
One cup of flour..? Two eggs..? One tablespoon of sake`..? What in the world? It's a recipe book...
